By accessing our website, booking a consultation, or engaging with our services, you agree to the following legally binding terms and conditions. These terms are designed to protect both you and Nourish & Support ABN 71 274 810 572 and ensure a safe, professional, and transparent experience.

1. Scope of Services

Nourish & Support provides evidence-based nutrition services by Accredited Practising Dietitians (APDs), including:

  • Telehealth and in-home consultations

  • Nutrition support for chronic conditions

  • NDIS-funded dietetic services

  • Lifestyle and preventative health advice

  • Meal planning and food behaviour coaching

All services are delivered in accordance with the Dietitians Australia Code of Conduct and relevant clinical guidelines.

2. Eligibility & Consent

  • You must be 18 years or older to book a consultation. If booking for a minor, you confirm you are their legal guardian.

  • By booking, you consent to receive nutrition advice and acknowledge that results may vary based on individual circumstances.

  • You agree to provide accurate health information and disclose any medical conditions relevant to your care.

3. Bookings, Payments & Invoicing

  • Telehealth Appointments:

    • Full payment is required no later than 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment.

    • Failure to pay within this timeframe may result in cancellation of the appointment and forfeiture of the booking.

  • In-Person Appointments:

    • Full payment is required at the commencement of the appointment.

  • Accepted Payment Methods:

    • Bank transfer

    • Online EFTPOS

    • We do not accept cash or offer HICAPS claiming.

  • Private Health Insurance:

    • A receipt will be provided for clients to submit to their insurer.

    • Nourish & Support does not process claims directly and does not guarantee reimbursement.

  • Non-Payment:

    • Invoices are due within 7 days of issue.

    • Late payments may incur a $40 administration fee and may be referred to debt collection.

    • Nourish & Support reserves the right to suspend future services until outstanding balances are paid.

4. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

  • Standard Appointments:

    • Cancel/reschedule 24+ hours before: No charge.

    • Cancel/reschedule within 24 hours: 50% of the consultation fee.

    • No-show: Full consultation fee applies.

  • NDIS Appointments:

    • Minimum 1 business day notice required.

    • Short-notice cancellations or no-shows: Full fee charged.

  • Medical Emergencies:

    • Fees may be waived with a valid medical certificate.

    • COVID-19 tests do not qualify for fee waivers.

  • Late Arrivals:

    • Arriving more than 10 minutes late may result in a shortened session or cancellation with full fee charged.

5. Refunds & Satisfaction

  • If you are dissatisfied with your consultation, please contact us within 7 days to discuss a resolution.

  • Refunds are at the sole discretion of the Managing Dietitian.

  • Prepaid packages, group sessions, and workshops are non-refundable, but may be transferred or credited at our discretion.

6. Limitation of Liability

  • Nourish & Support provides nutrition advice based on current evidence and your disclosed health information. However, we do not guarantee specific outcomes.

  • You acknowledge that:

    • Nutrition advice may require ongoing review.

    • Results depend on individual compliance, medical conditions, and lifestyle factors.

    • We are not liable for any adverse outcomes resulting from incomplete disclosure, non-compliance, or external factors.

  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nourish & Support disclaims all liability for:

    • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

    • Loss of income, data, or reputation.

    • Any reliance on website content or third-party resources.

7. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Nourish & Support, its employees, contractors, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use of our services or website.

  • Breach of these terms.

  • Misuse or misinterpretation of advice provided.

8. Privacy & Confidentiality

  • We comply with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and Australian Privacy Principles.

  • Your personal and health information is stored securely and used only for service delivery, billing, and compliance.

  • We do not share your information without consent, except where required by law.

9. Website Use & Intellectual Property

  • All content on our website is for informational purposes only and does not replace professional medical advice.

  • You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercialise any content without written permission.

  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free content.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with Australian consumer law and relevant health regulations.
